Jekyll UiKit

A Jekyll theme built on the UIkit front-end framework: a clean starter for static sites with UIkit components wired in.

Jekyll UiKit is one of my older projects, from back when I was building static sites with Jekyll. It is a theme built on UIkit, a lightweight front end framework, so you get a clean starting point with the components already wired in: a hero, a features grid, blog and tag pages, and Algolia search.

Where it stands#

I am not actively maintaining this one anymore, but it is still public and still works if you want it. If you are on Jekyll and like the UIkit look, it is a solid base to fork and make your own.

Getting started#

Setup lives in the project README on GitHub, including how to install it and wire up the moving pieces. Head over to the repo to grab it.
